Playground Finder for Car privacy policy
The short version
- We use your car's location only to find playgrounds near you, and we don't store it.
- No account, no ads, no tracking. Your favorites stay in your car.
Location
When you open the list or search, the app sends the car's current position (or the place you searched for) to our server, which looks up nearby playgrounds and sends the list back. We don't keep the position or link it to you or your car. To make the next search faster, we keep map results for an area for up to 7 days and place-search results for up to 30 days. They contain map data and the place name that was searched for, never who searched or from where.
What stays in your car
Your favorite playgrounds are saved only in the car.
Where the data comes from and goes
Our server runs on Cloudflare. Playground and place data comes from OpenStreetMap; our server asks OpenStreetMap services for an area, not for you, and never passes your exact position on with anything that identifies you. All connections use encrypted HTTPS.
Children
The app is made for drivers and isn't directed at children.
